How to Manually Update Galaxy S2 GT I9100G to Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XWLSR OS
First on your computer you have to download the update file and Odin.
We will use Odin for flashing the update on your phone.
The download link for the update file is here.
Download Odin from here.
Extract the update file on your computer and then install Odin.
On the PC open Odin.
Turn off the handset.
Reboot it into download mode.
The download mode can be reached by pressing and holding the Volume Down, Center and Power buttons together.
While the device is in download mode, connect the same with the computer by using its USB cable.
Now, on Odin the ID:COM section should be yellow and the “added” message should be there.
If different, download Samsung KIES and install the proper drivers for your S2 and then repeat the procedure from above.
Up next, click on “PDA” and select the update file (the .tar one).
Click on “start” and in the end you should see the “pass” message displayed.
Unplug the USB cable as you are done.
If by using Odin you can’t complete the update, unplug the USB cord and turn off the phone. Then remove the battery and re-insert it. After 5 seconds turn it on again and try to re-do the steps from the beginning; everything should be working fine now. Also, if after using Odin you will get a boot loop, try to do the following:
Boot into recovery mode (press on Volume Up, Home and Power buttons).
From there wipe the system.
You can make a wipe by selecting “wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition”.
Then, choose “+++go back+++” and “reboot system now”.
The first boot might take longer than usual; don’t panic there is nothing wrong with your S2.

ifaith 1 5 1 released with support of iOS 3 x x to 6 1 update 1
iFaith v1.5.1
First off, I know how long Ive been delaying this release. I originally promised to release this around Summer. Summer turned to JailbreakCon weekend. Followed by more future weekends. Well Im finally happy to release this damn thing.
What is new?:
Major code improvements.
Added Check for Update code.
Adds the ability to dump iOS 5.1.x/6.0.x/6.1 on the iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3, and A4 devices.
Crazy payload rewrite. (There are a chain of payloads used in this new iFaith purely dedicated to bumping up performance. iFaith should dump instantly after payload executes!).
Finally enabled 3.x.x IPSW creation for iPod touch 2G users.
Finally fully fixes NAND issues with newer models (e.g iPhone 4 8GB, new iPod Touch 4 models).
In addition to dumping your SHSH blobs, iFaith will automatically fetch SHSH blobs for the latest iOS Apple is actively signing and submits them to Cydia.
All devices [including A5(X)/A6(X)] can grab SHSH blobs for the latest iOS firmwares Apple is actively signing simply by selecting the "Show available SHSH blobs on Server" button and following the on-screen prompts. (It will submit them to Cydia as well).
Even though you may not be able to utilize the SHSH blobs you save for A5(X)/A6(X) devices at this time, you may be able to in the future (Future loopholes/exploits)!
The beauty of this feature is there is no need to provide an IPSW or push new iFaith updates just to save the latest SHSH blobs from Apple [just like the TinyUmbrella days]. (Send some love to @icj_ and @iNeal for their lovely APIs powering this new ability in iFaith).
Mac Version?!:
Im working with @Djayb6 on getting iFaith fully ported to Mac OS. I cant provide an ETA as to when it will be available, but keep an eye out for it!
A5(X)/A6(X) Support?!:
Devices equipped with the A5(X)/A6(X) processor do not currently have any known low level iBoot or DFU exploits to jump start the iFaith payload to initialize the dump and restore. Therefore, support to dump blobs for devices running these processors are not possible at this moment in time. (You can still fetch the latest blobs directly from apple though by clicking the "Show Available SHSH blobs on Server" button.
A5(X)/A6(X) Downgrade?!:
As far as downgrading on A5(X)/A6(X) devices goes... There currently is no publicly known loophole to kick-start a downgrade. So at the moment there is NO public way of downgrading an A5(X)/A6(X) device. For A5(X) devices still running 5.x.x, redsn0w can recycle the first apticket loophole and
*re-restore* your device as long as you have the essential SHSH blobs. More info on that here.
Windows 8 Users:
You will need to follow this tutorial to get iFaith to run.

How to Upgrade Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102 to ZCAMA7 Android 4 1 2 Jelly Bean Firmware
Here in this tutorial we will tell you how to upgrade Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102 to ZCAMA7 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the most amazing phablet in the tech markets. The device is equipped with all the latest hardware and software specifications. The Note 2 is the best as far as OS and other features are concerned. The most amazing thing of this device is the Jelly Bean OS. In this post let us have a look at the method to install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ZCAMA7 firmware to your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102.
Pre-Requisites
- You should install the latest and the updated drivers for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102 on your computer before you proceed with the upgrade.
- You also have to enable the USB debugging on your device. In order to do so, go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and then enable the USB Debugging option there.
- Do charge your device to at least 70 to 80 % so that it can withstand the entire firmware flashing process.
- Before you begin the update, back up all your important files and folders and other data such as your texts, MMS, contacts, internet settings, network passwords and other important files that you have on your device, especially in your phone memory. You are bound to lose any installed software on your device as well.
- Also remember that this procedure is only for Galaxy Note 2 N7102 and is not applicable for any other variant or device.
The Update Procedure
- Download the Android 4.1.2 ZCAMA7 Jelly Bean firmware for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102 from the link that has been provided here:
- Now, download Odin3 v3.04 for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102 and then extract it.
- Now, switch off your device and then reboot into the download mode. In order to do so, press and hold the Power Button + Volume Down Button + Home Button until you do not see the Android Logo with a triangle on it. Once you see it, you may release these buttons.
- Once you are in the download mode, open ODIN on your computer and then connect your device to your computer using your device’s USB cable.
- If your phone connects properly, the ID: COM box on the ODIN screen will turn into yellow and also it will mention the respective port number, if you see the same, it means that the device has been connected properly to the computer and is ready for the firmware to be flashed.
- Now you need to select the downloaded files into various categories in ODIN which have been mentioned below:
- Click on the PDA option and then select the file that has a CODE or HOME in its name.
- Next, click on the Phone option and then select the file with the name MODEM in it. (if there is no such file, you may leave it blank)
- Then click on the CSC option and then select the file with CSC in its filename. (if there is no such file, you may leave it blank)
- Lastly, click on the option named PIT and then select the file with .Pit extension in its name. (if there is no such file, you may leave it blank)
- In the ODIN main window, select the Auto Reboot and the F. Reset Time option.
- Click on the START option and the flashing process will begin. The process might take some time, do not interrupt the process and do not use your phone until the process is completed.
- When the installation is completed, you will see a PASS in the ID: COM box and your phone will be rebooted.
- You will now be running the Android 4.1.2 ZCAMA7 firmware on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7102.

Full Unlock for Lumia 710 800 see step by step
INSTRUCTIONS
Requires an unlocked bootloader (a.k.a. qualcomm development bootloader).
Easy to check: Turn the phone OFF, then press and hold VOLUME UP + POWER until you notice a short vibration. Plug in to the computer. If the phone turns up in disk mode (USB Mass Storage Device), then you have an unlocked bootloader. IF youre in Windows, it will ask if you want to format the disk. SAY NO OR IT WILL EXPLODE (it wont explode but you might break it)
If the device detected by the computer is Nokia DLOAD you have a locked bootloader and youre out of luck, at least for now.
but its more involved to find the appropiate partition:
dd if=./os-new.nb of=/dev/sdX9
Where X is the disk detected by your linux distribution.
After that, youll need to hard reset the phone. Hold Power button for 10 seconds to exit Qualcomms disk mode, and press and hold POWER+VOLUMEDOWN+CAMERA until you feel the phone vibrate. After that, RELEASE power button but KEEP HOLDING volume down + camera for five or more seconds. This will trigger the hard reset.
Lumia 800: Full Unlock
sdb3.rar: Flash it to PARTITION #3. It contains 12070s amss & adsp. Not absolutely required but if you have an older version this should give you better battery life.
